Cocoon Hospital: Not to Eat When Pregnant

Foods List that you need to Avoid Durring Pregnancy: 

  • Lunch Meats
  • Fermented or Dry Sausages
  • Poultry
  • Rare or Undercooked Meats
(Unless Heated to an internal temperature of 165 Degree Fahrenheit)


  • Feta
  • Brie
  • Camembert and other bleu cheeses
(Avoid all soft Cheeses unless they're labeled "Made with Pasteurized milk.")

Raw Egg:

  • Raw Egg
  • Caesar Dressing
  • Fresh mayonnaise
  • Hollandaise Sause
  • Uncooked Cake batter and Cookie dough
(The Kind you find in a jar in your grocery aisle is fine)


  • All Raw Fish(Sushi and Sashimi)
  • Seared or Undercooked fish/Shellfish
  • Tilefish
  • Swordfish
  • King mackerel
(Fish with elevated levels of methyl mercury (Which can cause brain damage or developmental delays)or polychlorinated biphenyls)

(Avoid all beer, wine and hard liquor during Pregnancy)


  • Drink no more than one of the following daily:
  • Two 5 ounce cups of coffee
  • Three 5 Ounce cups of tea


  • Eat Salty foods in Moderation.
